For the first time in two years, the Mid-Western Regional Teen Leadership Conference was held in person at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri June 23-26, 2022. During this conference titled “Black Evolution,” teens of all ages and abilities elected their peers to leadership positions, met teens from other chapters, participated in engaging workshops and competitions and, most importantly, participated in the evolution of their own growth. The experience was culminated by saluting our graduating seniors.
Over 30 South Suburban Chicago teens attended TLC and enjoyed a memorable experience with their regional counterparts. In the competition categories, our teens did outstanding and came home with several awards, including:

- 1st Place Alice L. Peoples Outstanding Senior, Jaden Sharp
- 1st Place Step Competition
- 1st Place T-Shirt Competition
- 2nd Place Banner Competition
- 3rd Place Teen Community Impact Award
