Kudos to our amazing Legislative Committee led by Chair Mariba Woods for the Virtual Health Forum held on February 13, 2021! Very special thank you to Mother Members Dr. Rashida Downing, Dr. Lakshmi Emory and Dr. Zahrain St. Jean as our wonderful and very knowledgeable panel of Physicians. The session opened with Heart Healthy tips and information in support of #JJOAGoesRed and Heart Health Awareness Month. Also, as a follow up to our mini Town Hall on COVID-19 last Spring, they addressed the state of the pandemic and COVID-19 one year later by discussing new strains, the vaccine and updated CDC guidelines. Truly Informative!! Thank you also to Technology Chair Erin Killingsworth-Walker, Leslie Levy and PD Alison Wright.
