Approximately 300 guests attended the South Suburban Chicago Chapter’s 2015 Masquerade Ball: A Night of Magic and Creativity on Saturday, January 24, 2015. The black-tie event took place at DiNolfo’s Banquets of Homer Glen. The program featured a cocktail reception and silent auction and an extraordinary evening of entertainment, dinner and dancing.
The Sammy Dyer School of the Theatre set the tone of the event with a dramatic dance performance to “Masquerade/Why so Silent” from Phantom of the Opera. The evening also included a performance by award-winning illusionist Walter King Jr. and a special presentation highlighting the chapter’s recent scholarship recipients. Attendees danced the night away to the sounds of Innersoul. Approximately $37,300 raised in connection with the Masquerade Ball supported our chapter’s scholarship and community service initiatives and the Jack and Jill of America Foundation.
